Baker Public Relations is excited to announce a new video podcast series called “InfluenceHER” debuting on July 16. Megan Baker, president and CEO of Baker Public Relations, will sit down to chat with the Capital Region’s most interesting female influencers every month for thought-provoking conversations across a variety of industries.
We will cover everything from inspiration to overcoming obstacles and learning what makes these incredible women successful in a fun and light-hearted way. Grab a glass of wine and join us in getting candid with our guests in a special segment at the end of each episode called “Baker’s Dozen.” In this part of the episode we ask our guests 13 rapid-fire questions to get to know them on a more personal level.
In our first episode we sat down with Denise Dubois, owner of Complexions Spa in Albany and Saratoga Springs. We dive deep into how she got her start, to the challenges of running not one but two successful spa and salon locations in the Capital Region for more than 30 years, and creating her own skincare line due to launch in late 2019.
We’ll bring you real stories from real women across generations making an impact in their industries and their communities, like our second guest, Taylor Rao. Rao is a 25-year-old, writer, fashionista, personality and co-founder of Troy-based digital entertainment company “Two Buttons Deep.” Rao talks about making a name for herself in the Capital Region in only three years’ time, and taking risks in life, career and even fashion!
InfluenceHER is produced in-house by the talented team at Baker Public Relations. Megan Baker is a former TV news broadcaster and founder of New York State Certified Woman-Owned PR agency, Baker Public Relations. She’s experienced, firsthand, the challenges of switching careers and demands of growing a company all while balancing family life.
