Three-Month Social Media and Public Relations Campaign 

YWCA-NENY contracted Baker Public Relations to promote the 2022 YWCA-NENY Achievement Awards. The scope included media relations outreach, communications and pitching, press release and media advisory drafting and social media content creation. In addition, Baker Public Relations produced 14 in-studio pre-recorded speeches and a promotional video including short clips from the awardees to entice potential viewers to see more.   

Baker Public Relations developed the branding and the messaging for the YWCA-NENY Achievement Awards social media accounts. The client valued the new social media branding and opted to use the branding for promotional materials at the event.  

During our engagement, YWCA-NENY saw a 19.2% increase in new likes, a 35.7% increase in total organic reach, a 39.2% increase in total impressions and a 186.9% increase in engaged people on Facebook. The YWCA-NENY Instagram account increased by 9.7% followers, reached 134% more accounts and engaged 179% more accounts during our engagement. According to industry standards, a good engagement rate falls between 1.5% and 3%. During the campaign, YWCA-NENY saw an average engagement rate on Facebook of 8.12% and a 9.34% average engagement rate on Instagram, both well above industry standards.
