Ragan’s awards program celebrates the most successful campaigns, initiatives and teams in the communication, public relations and marketing industries.
The Video, Visual & Virtual Awards program chose finalists who have captivated their audiences with powerful visual content and engaging virtual events.
Baker Public Relations was selected as a finalist in the Public Relations Video category for the 2021 Virtual Banquet for New York Sire Stakes and in the Cause-Related Video category for the “Heroes Unmasked” video created for The Arc of Rensselaer County.
The New York Sire Stakes is the premier harness racing program designed to promote breeding, buying, and racing of standardbred horses in the state of New York. Like other similar organizations, the New York Sire Stakes lost many opportunities due to the pandemic, but that did not deter the team from honoring the members of their program. Baker Public Relations coordinated and successfully executed an impressive live stream of the 2021 banquet and awards ceremony with use of its Creative Services studio.
The Arc of Rensselaer County has a mission to advocate for the rights and safety of individuals of all ages who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Baker Public Relations planned, shot and edited the video “Unmasked Heroes” to highlight the Arc’s Direct Support Professionals and share their stories in a touching visual tribute.
