Emergency Room Visits and Inpatient Care Significantly Decreased

aptihealth’s Advanced Care Program led to a 49% reduction in emergency room visits and a 54% decrease in inpatient care across both commercial and Medicaid members. These findings indicate aptihealth’s innovative approach not only stabilizes but prevents crisis situations for individuals who utilize its care. This is particularly noteworthy for Medicaid members, who are historically underserved populations with limited access points to care and high rates of behavioral health needs.

Within a 60-day treatment period, members experienced a decrease in their PHQ-9 scores, which indicates depressive symptoms, with three in five members seeing symptomatic reduction. Members also experienced lowered GAD-7 scores, representing anxiety symptoms, with 57.7% of members achieving symptomatic reduction.

Cost Savings for Insurance Providers

aptihealth’s Impact Analysis report reveals impressive savings and ROI for health plans. Commercial members see a 2.3x ROI, while Medicaid members experience a 1.3x ROI. These results stem from reduced healthcare utilization costs, particularly in hospital readmissions and emergency visits. aptihealth’s personalized care not only saves costs but also improves patient outcomes, emphasizing its value in delivering cost-effective behavioral healthcare solutions.
