Albany, N.Y. — Baker Public Relations, a full-service communications firm and New York State-Certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), announces the hiring of Geoff Redick and Emily Allen, both former Capital Region media personalities.
Redick, a Western New York native, has been hired as a Senior Account Executive, bringing more than a decade of on-air reporting as a seasoned award-winning television journalist. He comes to Baker Public Relations from ABC 6 News in Columbus, Ohio and previously worked at Spectrum News in Albany. Redick has a wealth of knowledge as it relates to getting the attention of local, regional and greater New York state news organizations for Baker Public Relations and its clients.
Allen has already put her impressive storytelling skills to work as the new Media Strategist for Baker Public Relations. A Clifton Park native, Allen honed her craft throughout her career as an award-winning anchor and reporter for both CBS6 Albany and Spectrum News. Allen’s background coupled with her extensive media and legislative contacts will be instrumental in driving client results.
Both Redick and Allen join the team at an ideal time as the agency continues to see an increase in client demand for content creation including video and social. Their diverse multimedia backgrounds make for the perfect addition to the Baker team.
