Craig brings to Baker Public Relations 18 years of communications experience, having worked as an award-winning broadcast meteorologist and reporter. If his face looks familiar, that’s because his most recent on-air position was with CBS6 News out of Albany.
In his nearly two decades in TV news, Craig has covered it all – from crippling snowstorms to landfalling hurricanes and yes, he’s even chased a few tornadoes while working for a station in Kansas. His experience in television has honed his creative writing and storytelling, giving Craig an “inside track” on gaining media coverage for clients. As a senior account executive, Craig is responsible for developing strategic communications plans, including media opportunities, tactics and timelines consistent with a client’s overall PR strategy. He’s also instrumental in the creation and development of proactive pitch ideas for clients based on their industry, current trends and various announcements.
Outside of his passion for helping clients tell their story, Craig spends many days as a “human jungle gym” while his young twin daughters hang from his limbs. Beyond spending time with family, Craig literally marches to the beat of his own drum (yes, he’s a drummer in a cover rock band), takes to the slopes for his favorite winter sport, and can be found on the tennis courts during the warmer months.
